30th Celebrations: Umbreon and Espeon make a comeback
Share
Day and night return to Pokemon TCG in the form of the 30th Celebration Umbreon and Espeon Ultra Premium Collectors boxes.
Both boxes are scheduled for November 6, 2026. They sit after the first September wave, after the October booster bundles and tins, and after the Espeon ex and Umbreon ex Battle Decks. That later date helps them. By then, collectors will already know what the main set feels like, which singles are moving, and whether sealed supply is loose or tight.
The structure is simple enough to explain in one sentence: each Ultra-Premium Collection includes Pikachu ex with either Espeon ex or Umbreon ex, 29 30th Celebration booster packs, one Classic Collection booster pack, and the usual premium accessories. Product-line reporting puts MSRP at $179.99.
A lot of anniversary products are going to look similar from a distance: packs, promos, accessories, another box. The UPCs instead look catchier, with a day-themed box and night-themed box, with Pikachu at the centre and either Espeon or Umbreon giving each version its lane.
As of July 20, 2026, Pokemon Center has already opened preorders for selected 30th Celebration products. The first live wave on July 15 included the Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box, Tech Sticker Collections, and Knock Out Collection. The Espeon and Umbreon Ultra-Premium Collections were not part of that first preorder wave in the sources checked.
That is the useful bit. They are not gone yet. They are just waiting for their own moment.
What Collectors Should Notice
- The release date to watch is November 6, 2026.
- The UPCs are the premium sealed lane, not the entry point.
- Umbreon will probably pull the louder demand first. Espeon may sit cleaner if the gap gets too wide.
- The Classic Collection booster gives these boxes a better sealed identity than most of the range.
- Pokemon Center matters, but select stores should matter too.
- If preorders open before November, speed will matter more than overthinking the version.
Where to Watch
Pokemon communications and product-line reporting point to Pokemon Center and select stores for the November 6 release.
For UK collectors, that means watching Pokemon Center UK first, then established TCG retailers, larger toy retailers, and trusted sealed-product sellers. Early marketplace listings may appear before allocation is clear. Treat those carefully.
Peko Note
Peko is tracking 30th Celebration through the English Collection, Graded Collection, Individuals, and Box Sets pages. Selected Espeon, Umbreon, Eevee, Pikachu, and sealed anniversary pieces can be viewed through the gallery as stock develops, including Pikachu #20 and the First Partners 30th Anniversary Box. As always, be wary of pre-sales on third party websites like Ebay, where grifters sell items that are not in hand yet.
We will add more when the card, condition, and price all make sense.
